Celebrate your beloved pet with a one-of-a-kind, hand-crafted portrait. Each piece is uniquely commissioned — pricing is tailored to the chosen medium, dimensions, and level of detail, so I invite you to reach out directly for a personal consultation and quote.
Below you’ll find a selection of pet portrait commissions alongside glimpses of my painting process. You’ll also find some helpful tips on what to consider before commissioning a portrait — to help us get the very best result for you and your beloved companion.

Every pet is unique, and so is every portrait I paint. Before we chat about your commission, a little thought goes a long way toward making the process smooth and the result something you’ll treasure.
A few things to consider beforehand:
- Reference photo — A clear, well-lit, and in-focus photo is essential. Avoid anything dark or blurry.
- Pose & expression — Does the photo capture your pet’s personality and spirit? Make sure you love the pose, as this will form the basis of the painting.
- Size & complexity — Think about where you’d like to display the portrait. Keep in mind that size, detail, and complexity all affect the time involved — and therefore the price.
Once you’ve had a think, I’d love to hear from you. Get in touch and we’ll find the perfect approach together.

The process & what to expect
Once we’ve connected, discussed your vision, and agreed on all the details, here’s what you can expect from the journey ahead:
- Deposit — A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your commission and get things underway.
- Turnaround time — Most paintings are completed within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on size, complexity, and medium. Certain styles or special requests may take a little longer.
- Progress updates — Once I begin, I’ll send you a photo of the initial rough stage so you can see things taking shape. I’ll then send a final photo upon completion for your feedback — giving you the opportunity to request any minor tweaks before sign-off.
- Finishing & sealing — Depending on the medium used, the completed work may require a day or two of final sealing and protecting before it’s fully ready.
- Delivery — Once your portrait is complete and ready, I’ll be in touch straight away to arrange collection or delivery, whether you’re local or further afield.

Every commission is a collaboration, and I want you to be completely happy with the result. Don’t hesitate to reach out at any stage with questions. Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and it is a genuine privilege to paint them — I look forward to bringing your beloved companion to life on canvas.
